Terms of Service
1. Services
Primordial Transport provides local pallet freight delivery services within the Montreal and Laval areas.
2. 8-Week No-Fuel-Surcharge Offer
The offer is available to new customers only and applies to eligible local pallet deliveries within the Montreal and Laval service area. It begins on the date of the customer's first completed booking and applies for 8 consecutive weeks. The offer waives the applicable fuel surcharge only. Regular transportation charges, applicable taxes and any other applicable fees remain payable by the customer. This offer does not provide free transportation. The offer is non-transferable and cannot be combined with other promotional offers unless otherwise agreed in writing. Primordial Transport reserves the right to modify or end the promotional offer at any time; however, any offer already confirmed for an existing customer will remain subject to the terms confirmed at the time of booking.
3. Booking, Availability and Acceptance
All transportation services are subject to truck availability, scheduling, operating requirements and service suitability. A request for transportation does not guarantee acceptance or availability. Primordial Transport may decline or discontinue a shipment, service request or customer relationship when, based on reasonable business considerations, it determines that the request is not compatible with its availability, operating requirements, service standards or business policies. Rates are quoted based on pallet volume, delivery area, shipment requirements and frequency. Payment terms are confirmed at the time of booking.
4. Liability
Primordial Transport takes reasonable care in handling and transporting freight. Claims for loss or damage must be reported in writing within 48 hours of delivery. Liability is limited to the amount specified in the applicable bill of lading or shipping agreement, subject to applicable law. Primordial Transport is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages to the extent permitted by law.
5. Cancellations
Bookings must be cancelled or rescheduled with a minimum of 24 hours' notice. Cancellations made with less notice may be subject to a cancellation or other applicable fee.
6. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec, Canada.
